Pros

Health insurance (after 60 days*) PTO (after 90 days*)

Cons

I cannot stress this enough - RUN!!! Far, far away from this company!! No, I’m not a scorned employee. No, I didn’t have any reprimands. I am simply trying to save you the stress and frustration with this horrendous company. I wouldn’t waste my time writing this review if this was not warranted. The first month was fun, all was fine, however, it quickly goes downhill. After only two weeks of training, you are thrown to the wolves (yes, actually wolves because the clients we handle are the worst you could ever possibly have). Every day you are expected to reach unrealistic goals while “incentives” are dangled in front of you. I’ll be the first to tell you - those “incentives” are next to impossible to achieve unless you’re working yourself to death, and trust me, $15.25/hour is NOT worth the verbal abuse. Clients you speak with feel as though they can speak to you any type of way, verbally abuse you, and even threaten you over the phone.. they feel this way because there is never anything done about it. Just encouraged to “move on to the next one”. Management couldn’t care any less about you. They only care about the numbers you produce. Protocols change every day, and no one ever knows what the correct plan of action is. If you want to be overworked, severely underpaid, and completely clueless as to what protocols are, then this is the company you would want to work for.

Pros

I met 6 really great people but none of them had been at Lincare more than a year which explained a lot.

Cons

Lincare is what happens when you let the idiots run the village. I would describe the culture as one of bullying by management, outdated technology, the crappiest offices, and a constant soap opera. - Manager threaten to go to upper management because I asked for additional clarification. - Senior Leadership has started department meetings with “who’s getting a new one ripped today?”, or “Tell me Mr X, what am I going to rip into you today for?” Same leader likes to stir drama and pit people against each other. - Management admits setting up people to fail. - They have the most outdated technology that is ALWAYS breaking because they are too cheap to do things right or take the time to fix things. -Management that has only worked at Lincare and has no concept for how functional organizations work. - Poor controls that has led to the current data breach. - Despite few people being the office, it’s is filthy and looks like the furniture was picked up the side of the road because it had a free sign on it. -Upper Management would not let a manager fire an under preforming employee even after the manager said they did not feel safe around said employee, until upper management felt threatened. - An employee who had been with the organization a number of years died and upper management never acknowledged it, very callous.

There are no pros to this job.

Cons

Absolutely the worst run company I have worked for. Lacks a training program.
