      Pros

      Rewarding position to assist others with gaining employment.

      Cons

      Unprofessional leadership of the department with poor communication skills. One leader had a sign on their desk “it is a great day to leave me alone”. That was the theme for the leadership in my department for my tenure with the organization. Very underwhelming and off putting. I would not recommend this position in this location but I would recommend the position otherwise.

      Have to be good at relationships building

      You have a lot of autonomy

      Cons

      Everything is pushed down on to supers. You have to cover classes, order supplies, manage teachers, and handle almost all student issues. The hours can be long- classes start early and end late
