      Good company to work for

      Pros

      This is a profitable business serving many industry sectors. The company continues to invest in equipment, trucks, plants. This is a real manufacturing business with lots of opportunity to contribute for people withbright skills and attitude. Some new interesting areas of innovation. Good new CEO and executive renewal to a more cohesive group, focused on the right priorities and better recognition of wins. Pays well. Good work life balance.

      Cons

      Industry undergoing change and consolidation. Being that this is a good industry and company, a lot of old timers - that is good but it also comes with a price as some of them resist change and do not have good understanding of how the external world moves a lot faster...

      A company that changes the rules mid stream

      It's an average job at best

      Cons

      No balance between home and work. Managers come in early and stay late at the plants. 65 - 75 hours a week is typical. Bonuses are dangled in front of employees only to be yanked away by criteria change.in mid stream. or adding criteria that wasn't a part of the bonus program that year.

      Pros

      Great pay, benefits, most of the people were great.

      Cons

      German owned, different culture and way of doing things. High stress at times, not much local leadership. Too much to do, and never enough time to do it. Three significant layoffs in last 1-1/2 years. No sales for Tulsa Natural Gas division in the 3 years I worked there. Supported efforts in Munich and east coast sales groups mostly using their engineering methodologies and tools.
