Lack of accountability in management

Too unprofessional when it comes to hiring and dept. management. At interview, top management told me to quite my current job and only work at Lion Raisins. I told him that I can handle two jobs. I told HR and Management to not offer me a job at Lion Raisins if it's not permanent or long term as in 10+ years. After the interview, he stated that I was the best candidate he spoken to so far all day. I said take your time and decide wisely. I left and one week later, he offered me a job and countered my proposed pay. I accepted the job. I was into my 4th week with perfect attendance and always on time, I was let go by Management / HR. I asked for reasons and they didn't say anything. They just said that it didn't work out as expected. Great thing was I didn't quite my former job as told.
