Pros
Pay is on time, ability to work from home (task availability permitting!)
Cons
I thought this would be a great company to work for remotely. I was wrong. Hours aren't guaranteed (didn't find that out until after I started as the ad I replied to touted 10-20 hours a week), so expect to have to sit at your computer all day continuously refreshing your browser until tasks miraculously appear, which isn't very often. You're not paid unless you're working on tasks, so ALL that time wasted waiting to snatch up a task is unpaid--I've spent 5 hours in front of my computer just waiting for work, and only was paid for the one 15 minute task I managed to acquire, so I essentially got $3.50 for all that time. THIS JOB IS MORE OF A TIME-SUCK THAN ANYTHING ELSE! Furthermore, they continue to hire more people when there isn't even enough work to go around as is. Each week is less and less hours logged. They claim task shortages are rare, which is a lie as the problem has persisted for months. They're horrible at communicating. It's all done via email, which is fine except that they take days to reply to people. To top it off, they send random emails that are unclear if they're targeted toward you personally, or to the entire team of employees. Sorry for the novel, but this position that I thought would be a great way to earn some extra money has turned into a nightmare, and I just want people to know what they're actually getting into.
