Swing shift no fun

Pros

Able to work with a diverse group of people.

Cons

Management that are friends out side of work so you have no one to go to if you have an issue with part of management. No secrecy. Unable to talk to anyone in management if you do not want the whole company to know what was said. No HR on site to be able to go to. Major favoritism. If you are in the in group, it is almost impossible to get fired and you can pretty much do whatever you want. If you are not, be prepared for being treated poorly and bullied. Can be a very hostile work environment if you speak up about unfairness. Management will lie straight to your face so they do not have to deal with tough stuff so you never know what is actually going on until it happens.

Pros

Wonderful, flexible schedule since you can work whenever it is available. Fair pay once you are used to the work flow. Some jobs can be very interesting.

Cons

Communication with leadership is sometimes difficult due to nature of independent contractor position and type of work. Must be able to learn and work very independently! Can be let go at any time.

Decent Pay, Flexible Hours

Pros

Flexible Hours, decent pay for a work at home gig, great atmosphere and working environment. management doesn't mind if you show up to work in your skivvies. Work is more steady than other work from home gigs, but still less than a traditional job. A good job for students, stay at home parents, and people who want to supplement their income from another source.

Cons

Hours capped at 20 a week with no guarantee that you will even receive 20 hours a week. Also you are only paid for the metric that has been assigned that task. If a task says it should take 5 minutes and it takes you 7 minutes, you'll only get paid for the 5 minutes. Training is unpaid and a lengthy process (3-4 weeks). Paid once a month instead of the more standard weekly or biweekly payments.
