Pros

There were benefits in the beginning, but they have melted away. Free coffee and tea seem to be about the last benefit left. There is the yearly Christmas gift/benefit, but last year's box of sweets could hardly be called that.

Cons

As long as the current set of arrogant SOBs in management and coordination remain, there is not a single pro to be found in the Lionbridge Tampere office. Anyone considering working there, should run away immediately. You will not be treated fairly, you will be forced to do more for less money, in less time all under the motto of multi-tasking, client-requirements and urgent need. There are a few good people who help out wherever they can and who have the patience to teach new-comers the technical details needed, but, I haven't seen them in a long time. I hope that these patient, older men, with the knowledge of university professors, have found far better employment elsewhere, where they will be appreciated by everyone.

Pros

1. Flexible working hours. 2. Good work environment. 3. Timely salary

Cons

Not a good company to join as a fresher. Below is my experience after working for more than 2 years in this company. 1. The management usually hires fresher’s under a trainee contract for a period of 1 year with meagre stipend. After which, they make you permanent with another one year bond period! Jeez, not again! 2. After completing two years, you will realize that the tools and skills you have learned here are of no value and not required/relevant in the job market. 3. Monotonous and boring work. Doing the same thing again, again and again! 4. You will never ever get cold while working in Bangalore office, because AC's never works!. 5. Expect to work extra hours and during weekends without any extra benefit. 6. Average life of a good employee is about 2-3 years max. 7. Compensation policy is out of sync with the market and inflation (not changed since ages!!!!) especially the starting pay scale of a fresher. 8. Large disparity in pay packages within teams as everybody gets the same percentage increment during appraisal cycle. Hence, over a period of time, lateral hires with high pay packages will get even higher increment and those who joined as fresher will get even lower salary! .

Pros

Work from Home when tasks are available Monthly prize for great raters Work on your own schedule when tasks are available

Cons

No Immediate feedback. Your ratings must agree with the company's You must finish a rating task in the time allotted, if it takes you longer they will not pay you. Sometimes it takes five minutes to read the instructions for a task that is supposed to take only two minutes to rate. You only get paid for two minutes. No pay for training or webinars
