Pros

Challenging work, interesting people to be met, cross-functional responsibilities, you can be doing the same thing for several years or change every day depending on your approach to work and desires (as well as managers)

Cons

No clear personal development policy (no policy at all in fact), vague perfomance reviews, low salary, no communication among departments, several people may be doing the same thing in a different way

Pros

Lionbridge is a flexible awesome work environment. If you get hired and slack, then they will cut you.... but if you do your job and beyond they will be a great addition to your income. They always respond to my emails. My brother worked for Leapforce and said he never actually spoke to a person. At lionbridge, we have teleconference meetings with our supervisors to ask for direction on projects.

Cons

You only get paid once a month so it's kinda hard to only use as your only income

Pros

Work schedule is flexible if work is available.

Cons

Read the review, “Don't even bother” as he/she says exactly as I feel. They expect you to donate time even after employed as all mandatory training is not paid for. And, the training is poor as they use simply examples while actually tasks are much more complicated. Also, the trainers seem to be making it up as they go along as they contradict other trainers and say things like they are asking Google for clarification. When you factor in how much training you are expected to do w/o being paid and that tasks take longer than they say, the pay is very poor. If you try to speed up to make a decent wage, quality falls and you receive poor reviews which can lead to losing your job. Again, just read the review “Don't even bother” as it is spot on. If you decide to try the job, go into it with your eyes open as I have been very disappointed.
