      Winter break, fun small perks of working for entertainment

      Cons

      Working long hours is a cultural thing. No one really needs to work as much as they do. A lot of time wasting here to appear like you are working.

      Pros

      Lots of great people work for this company. It was a true pleasure working with most of them.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, as the company has grown they have casually thrown away many of the people who helped them get there. I suspect this is just a side effect of a company growing rapidly, but very sad. They have treated a lot of people who have given a lot to the company very poorly.

      Great benefits, great people - advancement can be slow at the lower level

      Pros

      Great access and interaction with executives. Very open atmosphere and if you have a good (non-cynaca)l attitude you'll be respected by your co-workers. Management is approachable (company Pres makes point to mingle with assistants at company outings) and cares about employees, and huge egos are not as widely tolerated as compared to other studios. Great stock option programs, 401k, and excellent communication with HR.

      Cons

      Advancement (especially from an assistant level) can be slow, and salaries at the entry level are slightly below that of the industry standard; however, generous bonuses end up balancing it out.
