Pros

Good people, and a sense of "innovation" in the work

Cons

As it turns out, the "innovation" is mostly lip service. The smart purchase of STARZ has done little to help the company, because they still operate like two companies. While other tech companies have successfully entered the entertainment and streaming space, Lionsgate still doesn't offer anything to differentiate themselves from other studios, thus see themselves falling behind. The sense of uncertainty about the future was constant, and that was before COVID shut down the theaters. Pay was below entertainment industry standards, and available resources & budgets were often the same.

Pros

All about doing things different but it's definitely encouraged to speak up, even as an assistant.

Cons

the constant structural change is exhausting
