Awful culture, low pay/benefits

Pros

They made Twilight and Hunger Games, which everyone brings up at least once day. There are some small perks like bagels and snacks once a week.

Cons

There are way to many VPs/SVPs/EVPs/Presidents. Everyone is obsessed with titles. The pay is incredibly low, even for industry standards, and the benefits aren’t great at all. The hours are crazy and people are regularly in the office until 8 pm, and then go home and continue working. Morale is low and most people seem to be looking to leave or actually leaving. Serious lack of diversity that they don’t seem to care about.

Don't stay too long

Pros

LG is a decent studio name to have on your resume.

Cons

They compensate extremely poorly in comparison to the larger studios (think 30% to 50% less for the same position). Title inflation is rampant and most managers manage no one. They would rather give you a bump in title than pay you one dollar more. The open office plan is not conducive to any kind of deep work as you're constantly being interrupted by those around you. The motion picture side of the business is under a tremendous amount of financial strain. Expect more consolidation/lay-offs.
