Great colleagues with sincere focus on the mission

Cons

The focus on splashy headlines and good 'ole boy mindset has negative effect on focus of the original mission as well as employee moral.

Pros

You won't find a better community of people to work with. I miss my coworkers from my Lipscomb days. Work/Life balance were always respected at my level of work. Great vacation and holiday time, and the fact that you can include 5 days as a mission trip leader is something you won't find anywhere else.

Cons

Advancing from the inside is hard to do. For some reason, colleges really like to hire people from other colleges and Lipscomb is no different. You also just won't make a lot of money unless you have "Vice President" in your title.
