In my time here I have met some of the most wonderful coworkers, and the pay is a little better than a fast food joint

They care about getting bodies, but don’t care at all about people who have been loyal for years. A person coming in off the street can make the same as a 5 year employee in the same position thanks to their whopping 40 cent raises. Accountability only applies to certain people, opportunities to advance only apply to certain departments. Upper management is constantly lying, completely out of touch, and will go on a witch hunt if you dare to express dissatisfaction with being treated like a replaceable machine. Constant mandatory overtime and working holidays while they “work” 8-3. Management is never outside of their offices and overload supervisors to the point that they are unable to assist their subordinates. If you try to take advantage of the “open door” policy you will be retaliated against. Upper management is more interested in pointing fingers than in listening to why people are so unhappy.
