Working for Lithia has been an incredible experience. In just two years, I’ve learned more about the automotive business, leadership, and customer experience than I ever expected. The company provides a clear structure, strong support, and countless opportunities for growth if you’re willing to put in the work. The culture here is high-energy, team-oriented, and built around performance and accountability. Leadership genuinely wants to see people succeed and gives you the tools and autonomy to make that happen. Lithia’s national presence also opens the door to endless career paths, both within your store and across the company.

Cons

The pace can be demanding, and expectations are high, but if you’re driven and goal-oriented, you’ll thrive here.

Loved working there. I always bragged how this is the best place to work. Would never have quit. I dont understand letting people go to have to worry about hiring. I WANT to be there.

Cons

There are people who are doing worse things but im let go for “stealing” time and was not provided exact dates at time of being let go. I see that people are getting replies so i would love a follow up :) ALL I WANT IS MY JOB BACK I WORKED THERE FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS AND NO ONE CAN DISAGREE THAT I DIDNT PUT IN MY HARD EARNED TIME.

Remote Work Flexibility: I was fortunate to work remotely, which supported both productivity and work-life balance. Competitive Compensation: The pay was excellent and reflected the value of the work I contributed. Supportive Team Culture: Until late 2024, I had an incredible team that genuinely cared about building each other up and fostering collaboration. Fun Work Environment: We embraced fun as a core value—it wasn’t just lip service. There were moments of real joy and camaraderie. Strong Benefits Package: Health, dental, vision, and retirement plans were generous and well-structured. Growth Opportunities: I had the chance to develop professionally and contribute meaningfully to the company’s success. Mission-Driven Work: I believed in the company’s goals and felt proud to represent the brand.

Cons

I didn’t have many concerns until late 2024, when a leadership change shifted the tone of the workplace. The new manager seemed to take issue with my communication style, and rather than fostering collaboration or offering clear expectations, interactions became increasingly discouraging. Despite my efforts to adapt and support the team, I was met with dismissiveness and inconsistent feedback. There was a strong emphasis on giving grace to others, yet I didn’t feel that same grace was extended to me as I tried to adjust. When I sought support through HR, I felt unheard and invalidated. The experience left me questioning my value after years of dedication. It’s heartbreaking to say, but one toxic dynamic overshadowed what had been a genuinely fulfilling and positive journey. I loved working for Driveway and believed in what we were building. I hope future leadership can restore the supportive culture that once made this company so special.
