Managers give certain employees special treatment and lets others experience constant harassment

The payroll department does not own up to the error they have made regarding my W2. I did not submit a W4 that had "exempt" in box 7. This is a clear error on their part that resulted in NO federal taxes being withheld from my check. They put the blame on me and apologized for the "confusion". There is responsibility on their end to make sure federal taxed are being withheld. My lawyer and accountant will now be getting involved. When I first discovered the error I reached out to the woman who handled HR at the dealership I worked at. I emailed and called her several times and she never once reached out to me. I had to text the general manager who was completel rude and uneducated as to the cause of the problem. However, in accordance with her obnoxious and know-it-all personality she provided answers that were incorrect. When I told her that her answers were incorrect she finally provided the email to the payroll department. Don't ever work for this company.
