      Pros

      Helping the epilepsy patient population is rewarding.

      Cons

      It's obvious after years of working for neuromodulation that the leadership doesn't have what it takes to grow the therapy or inspire their employees. In typical corporate fashion they waste money on consultants to cover up their failure to diversify the company's revenue streams with failed investment after failed investment. The executives then punch down rather then take accountability for their poor decision making. They cut compensation and raise prices to create the illusion of growth. Their annual price increases have crossed over to unethical as they profit gratuitously off the epilepsy population at the expense of the health care system. The President of Neuromodulation is profoundly disliked and seems to lack even basic business acumen skills. It's widely believed he was hired because he won't stand up to the executives and advocate for the salesforce. He has forced out anyone who doesn't get inline with his misguided narrative and continues to hire people with zero knowledge of the epilepsy market place. There is no one left who will give genuine feedback to correct the course the company has taken.

      Cannibalized from the inside by management!!! RUN NOW!!!

      Pros

      Great coworkers (not including management). Decent pay (still not worth it). Customers are mostly cool.

      Cons

      They use and abuse their files service reps. They make you buy a car on your own credit and then give you a stipend and a tiny bit of mileage money. But it’s still your car on your own dime and credit. They can and will fire you on a moments notice a week after 100% positive reviews (which is all I’ve had for the five years I worked here). HR (the current version with livanova) is completely non-existent and non-functional and three months after getting let go they still Haney told me anything about my rights, how to get my money from my 401k, what to do with any of my stuff that’s company property, my cobra rights (federal law broken here!!!!). It’s sad the way management works in this company. It’s also sad that good people, if they become managers here, become corrupted and just as bad as the rest of the heads of this company. If you’re not looking for a career and just looking to make some money you might consider it. But they’ll eat you alive and use you in the end. Just know that!!! Good luck!!!

      Pros

      Benefits are great! The work is inspiring and the patient stories are incredible which is why it's easy to want to stay.

      Cons

      No training pushed, managment doesn't want to deal with problems and will push it off, issues snowball, they blanket promote so that everyone's a winner and not the hard workin people. The merger just made every thing worse! No one wants to be in charge of anything and in the next few months these new changes are down to bring people down.
