      Pros

      This is a great company to work at. I am quite impressed that the data science team I am in is comprised of physicists. I would definitely recommend this place to work at for a friend who is interested in this space.

      Cons

      It can be a bit tedious to initially understand all the moving parts of a project, but this is true for most large projects at most tech companies in the Bay Area.

      Growing quickly, learning fast

      Pros

      Smart, humble teammates focus on doing the right thing. Long-standing preference to grow talent from within. Fascinating technical problems to solve.

      Cons

      Team is clearly in its adolescent stage: lots of potential, opportunity, and optimism, but plenty of operational awkwardness as we learn to thrive at scale. Tangible traction in this area, but not ideal for those who struggle with growth-stage messiness.
