Uncertainty Ahead for DownRamp

Pros

Good benefits and cool office

Cons

-LiveRamp was once an amazing company with a fantastic culture and clear direction. Now it is forcing out the very people that help build that culture, and hiding behind statements like they left of their own free will for different opportunities. We ALL know that is a lie. PandC is kicking out anyone that disagrees with them and hiring drones of yes people to fulfill their wishes. -LiveRamp also is calling for a return to office but closes said offices without even giving employees a heads up. -Budgets are being cut all over the board for most teams, except the LT. Not a good look to everyone else that is burnt out.

Pros

The reason to work at LiveRamp is because of the people who work hard, work together, and want to win.

Cons

The LT pursues extravagant perks such as global first-class travel, expensive dinners, expensive wine, and quarterly outings in wine country and ski resorts. This includes allowing some LT to travel by helicopter from airports to hotels instead of using taxis. The LT tolerates ego-fueled bully behavior. Why? Product strategy? A President and CFO who runs international is a conflict of interest. Morale is taking a huge nosedive. Who is in charge? CEO or President?

Pros

People are chill, work-life balance

Cons

Gazillions of lines of code, all based on an antiquated tech stack, impossible to get anything done, a wonder it hasn't collapsed like a stack of dominos. Compensation is pretty bad given recent stock performance, and there's a lot of attrition as a result. Leadership has focused on hiring engineers in cheaper-cost-of-labor countries; but no one at the company is really good at cross-timezone communication.
