Pros
You get to ACTUALLY build new products and features -- I've worked for other companies with in-house software teams, and a core frustration was that real innovation was a pipe dream. It was such a breath of fresh air to be able to launch so many new products and features, and we're not showing any signs of slowing down
Ideas are welcomed -- the whole point of Lively is to disrupt the subpar status quo within a seemingly complacent industry. Lively's lean team makes it a great environment for sharing your ideas. Direct channels to leadership, including executives, are always open to everyone at anytime.
You can make a real impact -- Lively is lean. Lively wants to disrupt. If you want to ensure the hours you spend working actually make a difference, as opposed to feeling like you're running on a hamster wheel, Lively is likely a good fit for you.
High expectation of employees -- Some may argue this is a con. For me, it's a positive. Yes, you'll be expected to care, to be flexible, and to do good work. But so will everyone else. And working on a whole team of folks with that mindset is REALLY fun, with a lot of opportunities to be proud of the work you do together.
