Training for a new person to the industry is appropriate

Cons

- Cannot advance unless the hiring manager likes you; otherwise, you will be in the same position forever. - Upper management is disconnected with the issues going on in the "ground floor" - They constantly lie to their clients

Pros

The hiring process was quick and easy. Vacation is pretty generous for an entry level position. Casual dress days every Friday.

Cons

The work is incredibly tedious and unrewarding. It seems like a fairly dead end position. Technology is outdated. The culture is very sterile and overly "corporate". Turnover is high and I can see why.

Pros

Manager was excellent. Prior to 2015 it was a decent company.

Cons

The company purchased too many smaller companies too quickly. This resulted in the company having to realine and go to service centers. Many employees at smaller branches with 10 plus years experience were dismissed. Now currently service centers employees will not learn all parts of imports\exports. New employees at service centers were given very little training. CEO was too concerned with obtaining new business and compliance had been thrown out the door. If you have experience this is definitely not the place for you.
