Pros
The missions this company supports are really exciting and have global benefits to more than just the DoD, GPS satellites for example are a source of accurate timing and positioning used in agriculture to automate farming equipment, weather satellites provide advanced warnings for severe storms and wildfire tracking data to firefighters, even deep space exploration missions that produce some truly awe-inspiring imagery to the science community.
Cons
It's a big company. With that comes more bureaucracy and approval cycles that can often feel disempowering and slow. These processes were often build over many decades to take in all the lessons learned along the way, but may not be 100% applicable to how today's or tomorrow's business needs to be performed.
