Good salaries, no personal life

Pros

The salaries are good and, depending, what skill sets you have, there is room to grow and opportunities to move around locations.

Cons

A minimum work week is 45 hours (only paid up to 40) but you are generally expected to work closer to 50 or 60. The politics are intense and career progression is largely dependent on making good connections up chain. As long as you are willing to make the company priority number 1 and can network successfully, I would recommend LM.

Pros

Its a good place to get education benefits, plenty of challenging work opportunities, very friendly to transitioning military. Very thankful for the lessons I learned during my time there.

Cons

Don't go there expecting them to do right by you, expect to have to put up a fight for your self or they will take advantage of you. Upper management suffers from the Good old boy system. Low pay.

Pros

There are none other than having a job, if that's what you want to call it.

Cons

Greedy management. Wanting to cut mechanics so multiple site leads can keep their jobs. Absolutely no contribution to employee health care leaving premiums of over $1,400 a month for employees. Allowing "created" jobs from good ole boy system to stay drawing high salaries to continue. No opportunity for advancement, regardless of education or experience. Leads and below are dropping like flies. Continues to force impossible timeline standards by intimidation of layoffs. They cut mechanics, cut timelines, and are wanting to accomplish more work in less time to "save costs" but still have three site supervisors collecting over $100,000 a year and numerous "management" positions with undefined roles collecting over $36 an hour. Good luck getting these people to fix your airplanes. This contract was looked at completely wrong and it's going downhill fast.
