      Depends on the BA/program!

      Pros

      Great company for early in your career or late in your career.

      Cons

      Each BA/program is different. I’ve been on two, one was very exciting, had a great team, and I learned plenty (MFC Orlando/R&D program). The other (RMS King of Prussia) lacked excitement and had very few more experienced engineers to learn from, it was also full of LM built libraries (third-party libs are preferred) and outdated tooling (i.e. Jenkins, Bitbucket). No efforts were being made to improve and the team lacked ambition.

      Coming from a company with poor work/life before, Lockheed Martin was fantastic! Pleasure working with some of the greatest minds in their field.

      Need to assess pay; getting beat in the industry.

      - Interesting work - Decent benefits

      Cons

      - Old school culture. If you're not putting in overtime, you're looked down upon. - A lot of teams are understaffed, but the workload and timelines stay the same. It leads to a lot of stress. They're happy to work you to the bone.
