      Pros

      Decent pay and benefits. Can get exposed to come cool leading edge projects.

      Cons

      It's difficult to advance through the ranks unless you're in the right place at the right time or more likely, the pet project of a higher manager.

      Pros

      schedule, benefits, location, job security, industry leader, some training available if you go after it, easy to move between departments

      Cons

      You have to leave and come back to get a big bump in salary. You must go after positions yourself. There is no incentive for management to train or promote you. Many employees just riding a desk til retirement. Training is encouraged but most is difficult to get approved. Compensation is salary only - no bonuses for top performers. Archaic HR policies. Technology is the only thing "cutting edge." The rest of the company's systems, processes and policies are still in 1975.

      At Lockheed, you'll have the opporunity to work on interesting project.s You'll be payed competitively and you will receive better than average benefits.

      Cons

      It is a large company. So, there is the chance that you will be lost in the shuffle if you are not careful.
