Unethical hiring practices. Req"s are written for specific people, buried in the system, and held open for the minimum amount of time. People are hired and promoted based on who they know, not actual qualifications. Ethics guidelines in general do not seem to apply to management.

-Slow to change/innovate because of older culture and size -Some groups have 30+ people badged to a single manager -Very difficult to get promoted once you reach a certain point -Limited opportunities to -How much you enjoy your job and how you are promoted can be very impacted by whether or not you have a good manager. I have seen and had both good and bad managers and my career and job satisfaction have been a function of how good or bad the person in charge is.
