Pros

The hours are very flexible. The people are great to work with. The benefits are very good and the pay is competitive for the industry.

Cons

There are limited opportunities for growth because the workforce is shrinking and the job opportunities are not readily available, making it hard to move about and progress. There have been lay-offs every year for the past few years, which have diminished employee moral.

Pros

Flexible schedules, plenty of interesting work and contracts. There are plenty of smart people that you get to work with. With locations all over the world there can be opportunities to travel and work in many different locations.

Cons

Slow salary growth, heavy corporate overhead. It is a large company and it often feels like it. With governments slashing budgets, many benefits are going with it. Corporate training and performance reviews are poorly implemented.

Pros

Flex 40 means that as long as you get your 40+ hours in and support the meetings you need to support, you can work any hours you want. While this also means they expect you to make up missed time like doctors appointments and even sick time if possible, it is a great deal. The people I worked with there are the most intelligent, hard working and yet down-to-earth people I have ever met. It was a pleasure going to work every day.

Cons

The company can no longer afford to reward loyalty or even hard work. With tight budgets and fewer and smaller contracts, it is all cold numbers and superficial criteria. Yes, the stock price is at an all time high, but lower-level employees don't feel like the good days are back.
