Cons

Once you commit to an agreement, you need to keep that agreement. Getting amnesia is not the best way to go.

You get to work on the latest military jets and other really advance equipment. Enough said. Even with decrease budgets there is still a since of job security.

Cons

DoD Polotics. It literally takes an act of Congress to get things done. It seems I spend 10 percent of my time being an engineer and the other 90 percent doing the paperwork to justify everything
