Pros
A large organization, if you keep your head down, and have a solid education, you can have some job security.
Cons
Complete lack of concern for employees. They will hire someone away from another job, just to have them burn through some money for one week and then fire them. Pretentious, arrogant management. During a serious snowstorm, the mayor of Baltimore declared it to be against the law for anyone to be on the streets driving in Baltimore due to overwhlemed city emergency response. Lockheed made sure that they declared themselves open, so that they could bill Social Security and not have to pay out to employees. It's a good place to start out of school, but there are no raises, and you're simply filling a chair.
