      I enjoyed my time at LM and felt that I was able to contribute to their customer's satisfaction.

      Pros

      Work-life balance-they support it as priority one! Lockheed Martin also pushes your advancement in the company and provide all of the necessary resources.

      Cons

      I believe there a few too many politics and pet personnel at Lockheed Martin. It seems that the lower level managers are not monitored as much by upper management as they should be.

      Challenging and demanding projects, not so good compensation

      Pros

      Lockheed Martin is a large company, and can therefore offer a wide variety of opportunities. The projects I'm involved with tend to have smaller teams, and therefore each person has more responsibility within the project. At the same time, I have heard of huge projects, with 100 developers or more, which I imagine provide a totally different dynamic. I definitely feel like I'm making a difference working in Lockheed Martin, and I do get a sense of pride from that.

      Cons

      It is notoriously difficult to get a good raise and get promoted within Lockheed Martin. Some people are more lucky than others, of course, but I wouldn't get my hopes up about quickly growing within the company.

      Pros

      Good salary and benefits. Ultimate goal is to work on products that help our troops and defend our country. Management has good communication skills and are open about any topic.

      Cons

      Job is not stable for more than two years. Need to relocate often to stay employed. Hard to advance in career path. No budget for training and learning new technology.
