Pros

Good 401k and benefits relative to other defense competitors. Been fortunate to have flexible work from home arrangements. Have had plenty of opportunities to branch out and learn new skills.

Cons

Have had bad experiences with incompetent team members. Often feel like marketing/sales mentality dictates over engineering principles. Over promising, under delivering feels like a common trend.

If you are a person who is good at taking lead of your career path. They give you the tools to find your place. Very open to helping with WLB just speak up. Any issues in the workplace are no different than you see in any other workplace.

Cons

Low focus to on-boarding. Sometimes programs expect immediate knowledge of a product without any logical train up on material

There are some very stable long-term programs that operate out of the Syracuse area. The people in my group have been very easy to work with, and very supportive.

Cons

I'm unsure about the engineering processes from a company-wide perspective. I'm not sure if this has been allowed to slip over the past few years.
