Cons

If you're not at one of the big sites, you run the risk of being overlooked. Company has moved towards a market-result focus, often leading to hasty business decisions that bypass small opportunities; gamble big vs gamble small.

Pros

Great work/life balance. Depends on assigned project but usually flexible hours. Decent compensation. Good job security. Pretty good tuition reimbursement plan. Work isn't overly stressful, great if you want to coast. Paid overtime available for many projects.

Cons

Not much dynamism. Job and atmosphere can be very boring. There is little incentive to work hard as raises and promotions usually just given based on tenure. Most people, including management, are just going through the motions. A lot of bureaucracy.
