Pros

Up to date technology, some departments and VPs are better than others

Cons

LogRhythm was a great place to work in the beginning. Great work atmosphere, plenty of teams to work with and lots of support them Thoma Bravo took over. Within a few months, people were quitting daily and after a few months, entire sections of the company were empty. Because Thoma Bravo is a company flipper and is only interested in profits, most of the positions were not back filled, forcing those who remained to take on additional work loads. After a while, it got ridiculous, resulting in more people quitting. When the Corona virus showed up, our salaries were cut by 20 percent and the 401 K matching was stopped. This resulted in more people having to quit for better paying jobs. Out of the goodness of our hearts, employees started an internal support fund for other co-workers who were in financial destress due to the salary cut. Our salaries were finally restored but the lost wages were never paid back. Many of the original developers who had intimate knowledge of the product were also leaving at an accelerated rate. Today, working at LogRhythm is very demanding, and very high expectations are placed on every one. You are lucky if you get a lousy 1.5 to 2 percent salary increase which does not even match the increases in the cost of living. Is all about profit and making LogRhythm look good enough on paper so they can be sold. The best thing that could happen to LogRhythm is to be sold.

Thank you for posting a review as we always value constructive feedback and endeavor to be a great company with a fantastic culture. However, I want to address your concerns as many of the points you raised are dated and inaccurate. Our PE partners at Thoma Bravo are not ‘company flippers’ per your comments. Since the acquisition of LogRhythm, we have collectively invested significantly on internal systems and R&D. In fact, we have doubled the engineering/R&D team while up-leveling engineering with contemporary cloud development skills. There are many examples of other Thoma Bravo companies going public and they continue to remain as board members and investors. Their track record of helping companies grow provides stable workplaces for thousands of employees. You are correct that we started a LogRhythm fund during the pandemic with the mission to assist the extended LogRhythm family and--we are proud of it. While no one from LogRhythm was released last year, many employees had spouses and partners that lost jobs due to the pandemic. Through the great work of the fund we were able to assist many families that suffered hardship during a difficult time. You are also correct in stating that expectations are high at LogRhythm. Cybersecurity is serious business. We take our responsibility to our customers very seriously and ask that all of our employees do the same. Our company mission states it well: “To empower every organization around the world to effortlessly secure and protect themselves against security risk, theft, and loss”. So yes, expectations here are very high. Mark

Pros

I've been with LogRhythm for 5 years and love it! It's one of the best companies I have worked for in my career. LR offers a great company culture with good pay and the benefits are top notch (unlimited PTO, Friday's off in the summer etc.).

Cons

I have no complaints with LogRhythm.
