Pros

The people (that haven’t unceremoniously laid off) at LP are phenomenal. They are talented, intelligent, and strive to put LP on top in the digital marketing industry. I’ve made many good friends here because of how fun the culture is (was).

Cons

New CEO- this guy has been tearing up the company left and right with no explanation or transparency. Literally telling folks to avoid the term “layoffs” when the new organization structure “didn’t have room for certain employees”. Bro you fired 25% of some teams! Not only that, it seems that he is so focused on cost cutting he has no clue what the future looks like for the company- no innovation, constantly ignoring employee feedback, and lacking transparency (which is one of our core principles @LP). The employees aren’t being given any hope, or being listened to. What used to be an awesome place to work is now a fearful competition to stay employed. Rumor has it that the CEO wants to automate work with AI to replace actual humans working on accounts completely. It just doesn’t seem like a good outlook, and since no constructive plans have been communicated (the only ones we hear about is the latest re-org update about how “there wasn’t room for some people in the new organization”) I have lost trust, faith, and most of all, respect in the company.

Pros

Great people and management, they really are so helpful and want to see you succeed. Remote work.

Cons

This company has a revolving door of employees. They hire a bunch of new BDR's and its a numbers game to see who will stick around, and only like 10% of new hires make it. Goal is to make 50 calls a day, seems easy enough, but lack of training about the services makes it really hard to hold a conversation. The compensation is embarrassingly low, you make minimum wage, and the commission is laughable, only couple hundred bucks for a lot of work. And this is a full sales cycle position, do not be fooled by the BDR title. This would be a good job for someone who is desperate or recently graduated and needs some sort of job training.

Pros

Great place to learn about Google Ads, SEO and email marketing. Work from home, fun virtual work environment, somewhat flexible, work hard play hard.

Cons

Must consistently meet sales quota deadlines. Need to learn how to conduct your own client meetings without hand holding as quickly as possible and not rely on management to help you close deals.
