Pros

I've been at LP for over a decade. I've seen lots of changes ranging from amazing to fruitless. That's part of growing a company as quickly as this one has grown, especially one that had to reinvent a culture that had originally been built so heavily on in person collaboration. Seven or eight years ago I would have said the “biggest pro” was very clearly the sheer amount of opportunity available to move up the ladder and help build the company. I’ve seen many people benefit from that pro over the years. That was a result of being in startup mode, and companies can’t remain in startup mode forever. I’m leaving a review today because I do have a new, very clear “biggest pro”. The biggest pro to me now is that under the leadership of our new CEO and the transparent way that he let us know what his goals are, we can tie what we do back to those goals. For me personally, that means that I understand “why” I’m doing everything that I’m doing. It means I can see how I am contributing to the success of my team and my department. That gives me a great deal of job satisfaction. I have witnessed the immediate shifts he has referred to and I’ve already seen some of the positive outcomes from those shifts.

Cons

I’m hard pressed to come up with “Cons” but I would say that LP needs to find a better way to help other folks that have been here for a long time embrace change. Sometimes I feel like the same people that are saying “something needs to change” are the ones who also say “but that’s the way we’ve always done it”. Many of these LP’ers have been here for nearly their entire career so it makes sense that even when they know that we should constantly be growing and adapting, it can get a little overwhelming.

Pros

I joined Logical Position in September 2016, working in their SMB Paid Search department. Since then, my professional growth has increased tenfold. The company is home to many highly experienced and knowledgeable marketing experts who are always open to questions and eager to share their insights. Personally, I've always aspired to a leadership role, and Logical Position has provided me with full support, tools, and resources to pursue this ambition and to enhance my leadership skills and education. These pursuits are endless here as I continue to be challenged to evolve!

Cons

During my time here, I have witnessed and been part of various iterations and stages of the SMB department. These transitions have been challenging to navigate and adapt to, though we have ultimately done so!
