      Pros

      The people really make the company. Your actions are very visible to upper management.

      Cons

      Benefits are terrible, vacation time is terrible, you have to pay for coffee. If you are unfortunate enough to have a manager that is a terrible communicator like mine, it makes work life balance unhealthy. Also it is very chauvinistic, I was asked multiple times when I would get married and was told my career would be stagnant if I ever decided to get pregnant and have a baby.
