Pros

Your fellow coworkers that you actually work with are easy to get along with.

Cons

Management isn't good at all. All they care about is getting the job done at the expense of the wellbeing of their employees who actually do the labor. The workers are spread out thin. They expect to run a 24 hour facility yet there isn't support at times when its actually needed.

Pros

Pay, benefit, long day but short week

Cons

Upper management is in it for the money and treats "lower" employers with utter disrespect. Communication between departments is horrendous

Pros

-Bend and Tumalo campuses are nice locations -Very generous fitness benefit -They have begun using software to submit a safety concern. The concern is tracked and will be addressed. This is much more transparent of a process. - Young workforce, very high energy. Mostly friendly coworkers.

Cons

-Racism goes unchecked. There were some very horrific racial slurs I over heard in the break-room and by the copier right out in the work place. One slur being someone calling an African American co-worker "slave boy". Seriously this is such a sick work environment. I brought these to the attention of HR only to find out later they did absolutely nothing about it. There was no point in bringing this up to the manager since the manager condoned and participated in this behavior. It was more than obvious if you are black or a person of color you will be passed over for promotions. -Sexist work environment. I can say most females comment on this during their exit interview because HR gave me the response that they have heard it before. Again HR does nothing about it. The treatment of the male vs. the female employees is blatantly skewed. -Management treats you like a pawn. If you meet tight timelines, work weekends they just expect it and keep piling on the projects until you break. Your male coworker is not treated like this. As a female you are not recognized for your intelligence it will be downplayed. While the male coworker is given "expert" title in areas they clearly are not experts. Demotivating environment. -There is a core management group that will severely stunt your growth if you come off as complaining. These employees are pushed into unwanted projects/positions until they quit. Once you've been marked there is no changing it. They only want one certain type of personality. -It is a very unhealthy work environment. I felt like I walked on eggshells the entire time. I was careful to be the "right" personality and not complain but then nothing is corrected. I didn't feel valued. I just got burned out and found another job.
