Pros

Learn a lot on the job.

Cons

Use what you learn and get out. Other places have better work life balance and will pay more. Don't get sucked in with the first offer because they low ball. Should really look into unionizing.

Pros

Benefits are amazing. They match 401k, health, dental, eye insurance is chef's kiss. They have an FSA program. Good training. I learned a lot of skills.

Cons

They will find a way to not promote you. They hire anyone off the streets. You don't even need a degree. They make older technicians train hew hires even though there is a training department. As a technician you don't get compensated for training others even though it's outside of your job description. They don't give out lunch breaks. I have been in the lab for 10 hours straight before with no lunch. Management is terrible. They have no boundaries and will call you and ask you to rearrange your plans on your off day so that you come into work.

Pros

Benefits, some flexibility with day to day scheduling

Cons

Incompetent, useless, pathetic management. It's a conglomerate of incapable people attempting to micromanage every aspect. Terribly toxic environment provoked and encouraged my management. They have an SLT (Senior Leadership Team) but all they do is sit in meetings with one another. They have no concept of how any of the business operates beyond Zoom calls with each other. Lonza, please help this site. This is such a poor representation of your company. The people in management aren't even qualified to do the work they are in charge of and they are in incapable of the most basic aspects of management.
