Good health and benefits package.

Cons

Lonza no longer values its employees, particularly its scientists. Upper management makes descisions based solely on over-simplified numbers with no regard for the human factors. Reorganizations happen every couple of years, turnover is high, and severence packages are the bare minimum.

This place is a mess. Stay away if you possibly can.

Close to home, other than that they don't have much going for them.

Cons

Senior management is clueless on running a GMP company. They have grandfathered in many people that do not have a background in science into a company they are trying to turn into a world leader in Cell Therapy. Scary deal when they have high school graduates managing departments, and graduate level scientists shaking their heads over the lack of understanding of the task at hand.
