Pros

-The benefits are to die for and that's funny because they will work you to death in order for you to keep them. -Co-workers are like family members.... Which can also be a con because we all have those family members that are good for nothing. -Pay is average, but very steady and the benefits are free, so you won't have to pay out of pocket for health insurance -Helping the truly needy and being fulfilled because you made someone's life even a tiny bit easier

Cons

-County Politics. -V.I.P. Complaints- these are complaints that typically have no merit and are only based on the clients being upset because they are not eligible. They contact headquarters and workers/supervisors are being forced to make them eligible regardless of the policy set forth. Then state and county auditors come to the workers and scold them for approving these cases. Everything falls back on the workers/supervisors and if we speak up against the fraud that is being committed via the administrators, we are being insubordinate. Vicious cycle. -Very high caseloads and since they are hiring new people, but putting them in not so important sections, the high caseloads are only getting higher.

Pros

The pay and hours are super good. Very easy work, routine schedule, they celebrate your birthday, and an hour lunch

Cons

High school like drama between permanent employees and temps. Felt uncomfortable around male supervisors, everyone starts rumors about you or you hear rumors about anyone else

Pros

This job is very rewarding if you like to help people! It comes with great benefits and holidays and weekends off.

Cons

The pay could be a whole lot better for the type of work done by this classification. Management does not listen to the needs of this classification. It can be a dead end job if you do not possess a degree in other things. There is no promotional ladder for this classification.
