Pros

The County of Los Angeles has great medical benefits. Great opportunities for all the employees. Free 1 hour lunch break that is the greatest

Cons

The breaks are not long enough.

Pros

Great people, pretty decent pay, lots of opportunities to transfer and promote, great benefits

Cons

Lots of older employees, traffic and parking can be horrible in some location, administration is slow, complex, and outdated systems, staffing issues, some positions aren't filled with qualified employees

Pros

Paid workouts, good hours and pay during season, excellent supervisors and coworkers, good camaraderie.

Cons

Management never answers your questions, the pay isn't as good as it once was (other agencies now make way more), expect too much from seasonal staff, they make the position excessively competitive.
