Pros

The County of Los Angeles has great medical benefits. Great opportunities for all the employees. Free 1 hour lunch break that is the greatest

Cons

The breaks are not long enough.

Pros

Paid workouts, good hours and pay during season, excellent supervisors and coworkers, good camaraderie.

Cons

Management never answers your questions, the pay isn't as good as it once was (other agencies now make way more), expect too much from seasonal staff, they make the position excessively competitive.

Pros

working for la county has been a pleasure , the benefits are great and I feel like I'm part of a family

Cons

there are actually few cons, however, there are times there is not enough staffing, which means mandatory overtime , and it's hard to get a day off
