Pros

Great environment to work in. People are nice here. You do not need to worry about being back stabbed. Love it here.

Cons

Layoffs! This happens every month. Some rounds - few people; some rounds bunch of people. No formal communication regarding this.

Pros

This is a very good news organization with many talented and committed people, the problem is poor management from Tribune, which seems intent on running the company into the ground. Layoffs have become too frequent.

Cons

Layoffs! Poor communication from senior management, Tribune Tower's control of the paper. The rush to develop web content has been done in a disjointed way, and hasn't involved enough of the print employees.
