Pros
I find I am treated very fairly by senior store managers. The benefits package, while showing areas of decline, remains very acceptable.
Cons
Foul tempers and profane language used by customers toward employees, no concessions on schedules for Sunday church services by professing Christians, stupid hours of operation (ie, 6am open when perhaps 3 customers come in before 7 or 7:30am, similar for closing at 10pm), and a two caste employee system. There are employees who are rarely disciplined for continued policy and procedure transgressions, and others from whom nothing is excused. Zone Managers and above are invariably advised to "counsel" when the "dead wood" needs a severe pruning.
