      Pros

      Lowe's offers a great benefits package to its employees and the opportunities for advancement are abundant. Generally the atmosphere is friendly and professional, and upper management try get involved with your concerns moreso than other employers.

      Cons

      As with any retail environment, there can exist periods of high stress and tension within any given department. It can also be difficult to coordinate necessary absences from work (especially in emergency/obligatory situations).

      Pros

      The employees are competent, social, they also like coming to work. We are supplied with adequate tasks, and the ability to do our jobs correctly.

      Cons

      Too many levels of management. Many things get passed onto lower employees with no one to blame but the entry-level employee. Managers don't take responsibility for the tasks passed on. Need to make sure that things are being completed, the right way, the first time.

      Pros

      I spent several years as a dept. manager then moved up very quickly. I'm where I want to be for the rest of my career with Lowe's

      Cons

      As an internal manager, my pay is significantly lower than externals. I was told to leave & then come back if it's that big of a deal.
