      Good salad bar in the cafeteria haha

      Cons

      CEO only cares about his own earnings, not about anyone below him. Hospital cuts corners any and every way possible. Is willing to pay triple for travelers but not pay their locals a livable wage.

      Pros

      Coworkers are great, they really care and want to help. The current Med/Surg Director is really trying hard, and gets how hard we work, and how it impacts patient care and experience. I am well compensated, but shifts can be brutal.

      Cons

      Acute care (Med/Surg unit) nurses regularly have 6 patients, which is just not safe. We are not allowed a unit clerk/secretary, and there are no transporters in the building. Current senior leadership just doesn't get it. Hopefully the new director can make a difference.
