Thank you for your review. Our work with our Veterans is one of the most regarded programs. We are displeased to hear of your experience. Our leadership team is regularly reviewing compensation, procedures, and team performance to ensure we are operating justly and professionally. Our management team participates in quarterly trainings that go over leading with autonomy, empathy, and effective communication. Loyal Source does not take micromanagement or bullying lightly. We prioritize a positive workplace and would encourage anyone to reach out to our HR team to report any unfair treatment. Thank you for your time and we wish you the best!

Pros

Plenty of overtime available for providers who wanted it. Most cases were very low complexity-medically straightforward concerns (if you prefer that kind of thing). Pay is acceptable after daily stipend, health insurance compensation and travel coverage is added in. Charting is very simple and straightforward. Great opportunity to meet other people from very diverse backgrounds. Rapport between teammates was generally good and supportive with occasional exception.

Cons

Work environment is challenging to maintain good morale— not recommended for anyone with low threshold for depression, anxiety or perfectionism. Limited scope of practice can be frustrating. Depending on location, patient load could be anything from nonstop to almost nonexistent. No opportunity for advancement in skills for medical providers. Not recommended for new providers who need to solidify, integrate or enhance recently acquired knowledge and education. Job description from recruiter was not consistent with what I did.
