Pros

In the Texas facilities, there’s plenty of work and opportunity to make an impact. Plenty of problems to be solved, units to support, people to meet, groups to join. The company lacks detailed structure, which means it is up to the individual to impose their own structure. Definitely a historical good old boys culture, but a lot of young people entering this company and it is changing very quickly. A small big company with dozens of sites in the US. Lots of opportunities to move around as a chemical engineer, a little bit less in all the other roles.

Cons

The company is lean, there is so much to be done and not enough engineering support. That being said, they are expanding and hiring new roles so things are changing.
