Not good anymore

Pros

Not anymore now. Lubrizol used to be a very good company with the great leaders both global and regional. Respect to employees and having great development opportunities. But not anymore since the past 2-3 years.

Cons

1. Culture and Discrimination: Instead of giving opportunities to internal employees for their development, HR department pushes for external resources, even for the high potential employees, HR tend to push good ones out and bring external resources from headhunters, even the external candidates may not be as good as the internal ones , and their salary expectation can be 50% more than the internal one. HR always pushes for the external, disregard the opinions from the hiring manager and department. HR always undermines internal employees’ contribution and talent, also having discrimination on traditional Lubrizol process. They say bad words on Lubrizol global and the tradition Lubrizol culture, and no one dares to say anything to disagree. In Lubrizol China , HR decide for every department and employee, even they know nothing about other departments. 2. Pay and Benefits : Lubrizol used to pay the 75% of the market to attract talent, but it’s changed to 50% about 2 years ago. Internal salary increase and promotion are limited. Not attractive salary is just one thing, but in Lubrizol China, there is zero employee benefit. With the effort from HR department, there is a high turnover rate in the company. More and more good and experienced talents have left or choose to leave, the new joiners with little experience are now creating lots of mess in the company. The entire organization is going down. It’s a pity seeing this happened in the company.
