Pros

Excellent benefits, large and respected company, decent pay and bonuses for new employees.

Cons

Difficult to make a difference due to employees not being empowered, lots of levels of approval to get anything done, culture is not nurturing, not much diversity.

Pros

As a market leader in many of their categories, Lubrizol can leverage its strength which makes negotiating with vendors a lot simpler. There is a heavy emphasis on coaching and this has proven to be very impactful in my own career development. The new(er) CEO is driving a cultural shift that will help to align the corporation with the most effective practices and reignite a growth trajectory. The basic cultural values are outstanding. Great work / life balance.

Cons

Cultural change is hard and there will always be resistors. There is currently a minor clash of old and new culture. This is too be expected and I am convinced won't last long. Or at least, the resistors wont last...Additionally, it is a company that is modernizing its digital e commerce / marketing. It is on the right path, but currently behind in many digital marketing areas.
