I am a seasoned Technology professional & have excelled in various organizations/roles ranging from individual contributor to senior management. CenturyLink was the worst employment experience I have ever had. After 1 year I raised concerns around hiring practices that I believe negligently misrepresented the position I accepted (and relocated for at my own expense). Simultaneously, I pointed out discriminatory compensation practices. I documented all of the above in the most professional, constructive ways possible and formally submitted to leadership. I then resigned. CenturyLink's actions following my resignation indicated my allegations were true. Regretfully, no one had the professional courtesy to follow up with me and address or even respond to my allegations. Consequently, I am taking further steps to get answers & accountability from CenturyLink. I would NOT recommend this organization. I do recommend anyone considering employment there ask a lot of questions to ensure they flush out any red flags that are not being disclosed & get everything in writing.

The executive leadership team is in disarray and there is not a lot of vision. It's almost like a 1%-er environment. The very top takes care of themselves but they don't know how to develop or motivate the rest of the organization. If you want to work for a "game-changer", CenturyLink is not the place. They are stable but they aren't doing anything unique.
